Some items I was considering bringing along.
Non-clothing items! I only actually carried about half of this around.
Clothing items. Say hi to my underwear.
Further clothing items. I didn't actually bring these.
 Brought these though.
 My trusty pack.
Other baggage options. I used the little one in front but left it in Milan.
Mr_Cadaver (Mike Y.) (right) and Carlos (left) at JFK.
Carlos and Mr_C standing around in the terminal.
 Ken didn't sleep last night.
 But Ben and Lee did.
We made it to Frankfurt. There was a really really long hallway there.
Mr_C on the moving walkway in the really really long hall.
 Our checked baggage in Milan!
Mr_C shows off his Malpensa Express ticket from the airport to downtown Milan.
Piled into the train (Ken, Carlos, Lee).
Ben is pleased as Ken looks on.
My first attempt at a self-portrait. Miserable failure.
European wanderer extrordinaire Crazy Mike (Mike V.) waiting for us at the train station.
He had already been in Europe about five days.
The gang wanders out of Cadorna Station. The head in front is Carlos' cousin.
 The first Smart car sighting!
Despite exhaustion, we went sightseeing. This is the cathedral at the Piazza del Duomo in Milan.
It was quite a large piazza.
 And tall as well.
 The cathedral was very detailed.
Duomo on left, cathedral on right.
Large statue in the middle of the piazza.
 Another view.
Crazy pigeons were all over. A couple of guys really ripped me off with that corn - and I didn't even ask for it.
A closer view of the statue.
Our first food in Italy came from this little shop. The bread was quite good.
A blurry picture inside the cathedral. The camera didn't do so well indoors.
 Another one.
Yet again. It was pretty big in there.
This one came out a bit better - like the outside, the inside was very detailed.
 Hmm.
It looked better in person, trust me.
The large glass dome down the "street" from the piazza.
Wandering down another street on our way to a castle. It was pretty busy.
